Letter To The Editor: Another Endorsement For Eaton

Jack Cushing describes the candidate for selectman as a "smart guy" and a "straight shooter."

WILMINGTON, MA -- Wilmington voters head to the polls on April 28 for municipal elections. Below is a letter to the editor endorsing Jonathan Eaton, who is one of three candidates running for selectman.

Dear Editor,

I write in support of Jonathan Eaton for selectman. I have known Jonathan through his commitment to community service through the Rotary Club. He’s been very involved in our activities, including our Ice Bucket Challenge, our Polar Plunge, and Hope Lodge.
He is also very involved in our annual auction, serving as one of our auctioneers, and our trivia night, writing our trivia questions last year. Both of these events raise money that we give to graduating Wilmington seniors through our scholarships.

Jonathan is a smart guy, he’s young, he’s aggressive, he’s a straight shooter, he stands up for what he believes in, and he’s shown his dedication to the town and people of Wilmington. He’s a Wilmington guy, he’s been here his whole life, and he’s raising his family here. I hope that you join me in electing him to the board of selectmen on Saturday, April 28.

Sincerely,
