Local Business Donates to Wildcat Project

Wilmington High School's Wildcat Project is sponsoring a mandatory Pre-Prom Program on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from 6:30-8:00pm in the WHS gym. All students that are planning on attending the junior or senior prom must attend with a parent or guardian.
The Wildcat Project is a program addressing the current issue of substance abuse in the Wilmington community.

This project consists of the following implementation strategies:
- Drug and Alcohol abuse education for students
- Drug and Alcohol abuse education for parents
- Community outreach and education for the Wilmington community.
The Wildcat Project is a collaborative effort of Wilmington High & Middle Schools, the Sheriff’s Office of Middlesex County and the Billerica House of Correction; and the goal is to educate students and parents and to reinforce efforts to provide a safe, healthy, drug free environment for all children.

This project is funded by the local school district budget, an Innovative Teacher Grant through the School to Business partnership & local donations
