WILMINGTON, MA -- The following are items recorded by the Wilmington Police Department in its public police log. It is a sample of the types of calls the Wilmington Police responded on Friday, Oct. 20, Saturday, Oct. 21 and Sunday, October 22. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. Friday, 8:34 am: Party says speeding, grey BMW almost hit her dog. Caller does not need to speak with officer; just wanted complaint logged.

Friday, 9:40 am - 10:28 am: Police conducted traffic enforcement on Salem Street and issued six citations for speeding and one citation for failure to wear a seatbelt.
Friday, 6:11 pm - 7:34 pm: Police conducted traffic enforcement on Burlington Avenue, middlesex Avenue and Main Street and issued five warnings to drivers.

Friday, 8:22 pm: Volunteer at Halloween event at Harden tavern is having argument with parent who wants to take her child into the Haunted Woods. Peace restored.
Friday, 9:44 pm: Dead coyote on Salem Street. Animal moved to side of roadway. Animal Control and DPW unable to locate body when they checked the area.
Saturday, 8:20 am: Walk in party turns in wallet he found. Owner notified.
Saturday, 1:32 pm: Report of teens riding dirt bikes on Greenmeadow Drive. Gone on arrival.
Saturday, 3:08 pm: Two customers at Cumberland Farms on Main Street arguing about who would use a particular gas pump. Man involved in argument called to report the woman he was arguing with three a cup of coffee on his car. No vehicle damage.
Saturday, 7:32 pm: Caller believes her mother stole a check.
Saturday, 7:37 pm: Caller says people have been walking around building on Avalon Street for past half hour. Children playing hide-and-seek.
Sunday, 11:03 am: Unleashed Pit Bull and Golden Retriever running through neighborhood in vicinity of Woburn Street. Dogs located by owner, who had called station and was advised of their location.
Sunday, 12:54 pm: Caller says her poodles are loose. Called back to say they had been located.
Sunday, 2:41 pm: Walk-in says he lost a book called "Torrid Zone" while walking in the cemetery this morning.
Sunday, 8:58 pm: Caller says black, Newfoundland mix dog ran away at 4 pm. Animal Control said dog and owner reunited.
