Man Seriously Injured In Sunday Morning Crash In Wilmington
A 34-year-old Waltham man was ejected from his car after it rolled over.
WILMINGTON, MA — A Waltham man was seriously injured in a crash in Wilmington, Sunday morning. The man, 34, was ejected from a 2003 Toyota Camry Solara after a rollover, around 2:30 a.m. He was taken to Lahey Hospital and Medical Center with serious, life-threatening injuries, state police said.
There were no other occupants of the vehicle. The accident occurred on I-93 Northbound, at Exit 41. According to the latest release by police, the cause of the crash is still under investigation. The ramp was temporarily closed during crash investigation.
Troopers assigned to State Police-Andover are investigating the accident. Troop A Headquarters, State Police Crime Scene Services Section (CSSS), State Police Collision Analysis Reconstruction Section (CARS), Wilmington Fire Department, and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MA DOT) all assisted on scene.
