Model United Nations Club Travels to BC HIgh
Group discussed a variety of topics during a recent event.

The Wilmington High School Model United Nations club traveled to Boston College High School this past weekend to debate and find solutions to the pressing issues of today’s world.
Topics included global homelessness, sanitation in undeveloped countries, Latin American drug trade, the presence of totalitarian governments, the 2012 presidential election, expansion of McDonald’s franchises into third world countries, and one historical conference regarding the 1776 joint Continental Congress.

John Romano, Jeremy Frost, and Hannah Briere received Distinguished Delegate Awards for their performance in their conferences. Overall, all Wilmington students participating had successful debates and represented their school extremely well.
