Multiple Injuries in Four-Car Crash Tuesday Night

Several people were injured in a multi-car accident Tuesday night on Main Street in Wilmington.

The accident happened just before 9 p.m. in the area of 875 Main St. Police had to close Main Street from the Woburn line to Eames Street due to the serious crash. Several ambulances were requested to the scene.

Wilmington Police told the Lowell Sun, there were four vehicles involved and seven people were taken to area hospitals.

The extent of injuries to those involved is currently unknown.

Wilmington police did request the State Police photo/reconstruction team to the scene.

The crash is under investigation.
