School Choice Celebrated at ALCS

Abundant Life Christian School and Learning Center recently celebrated National School Choice Week. National School Choice Week provides an unprecedented opportunity, every January, to shine a positive spotlight on the need for effective education options for all children. It features thousands of unique events and activities across the country.

National School Choice Week took place, January 25 through January 31. Abundant Life Christian School and Learning Center (ALCS&LC) took a very wholesome approach to this event thanking parents and celebrating the students. An “ALCS KIDS ROCK” poster hung in the school lobby. The ALCS&LC staff donned the National School Choice Week trademark embroidered yellow scarves during the week. On Monday, staff gave parents muffins as a thank you for choosing ALCS. Friday the students and staff celebrated the week with a Pep Rally. All the students were given yellow scarves and sang a few of their favorite songs, including “Let’s Get A Little Crazy!” and “Give It Away!”

While, the students were having fun; the parents were being treated to hot coffee, banana bread and fresh fruit to begin their day. This is the second year ALCS&LC has celebrated National School Choice Week.
