New Restaurant Set to Open in Town Dec. 29
Tremezzo Ristorante to bring Italian fusion dining to Wilmington.
Almost year after a local Italian restaurant closed its doors and following nearly six months of planning and renovation by new owners, Tremezzo Ristorante is slated to open in Wilmington on Dec. 29.
Tremezzo owners announced on Facebook Friday they are ready to open in the upcoming weeks at the 2 Lowell St. location.
The sudden closure of Focaccia’s surprised many in the community. The closure was reportedly over a dispute between ownership and management, with the decision coming as a surprise to employees, as well.

But soon Wilmington will have a new Italian restaurant to add to residents’ dining out choices. Employees began training last week and this week and the owners are anxious to open.
Owned by Rick Lowe and Maura Lucchesi, the two are joined by Executive Chef James Martin who has partnered with Lowe and Lucchesi to bring his 25 years of experience to Tremezzo.

Tremezzo promises to bring to Wilmington a brand new Italian Fusion dining experience, with amazing food, unique and exciting drinks, and an electrifying atmosphere. The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner.
