New Wilmington High School is Taking Shape

Members of the Wilmington High School newspaper staff got a look inside the new high school and shared photos via the online newspaper. From the courtyard to the cafeteria area and more, there’s lots to see inside the construction project.

The new high school is slated to open on February 23, when students will move into the new 192,000 square foot building.

Construction of the $82.7 million dollar project to replace the current high school began in April 2013. The original high school was built in the 1950s.
