Nomination Papers Available For Wilmington 2020 Town Election

The annual town election is April 25, a week before the town meeting.

WILMINGTON, MA — Nomination papers are now available for Wilmington's 2020 town election, the Wilmington Apple reports. Anyone interested in running for a petition needs to get at least 50 signatures from registered voters and turn in their papers to the town clerk by Friday, March 6. TheThe election is Sat., April 25, with the town meeting the following Saturday.

The Apple reports: "The following seats will be up for grabs in this year’s election:

  • TWO three-year seats on the Wilmington Board of Selectmen (currently held by Mike McCoy & Jomarie O’Mahony)
  • TWO three-year seats on the Wilmington School Committee (currently held by Jennifer Bryson & Steve Bjork)
  • ONE five-year seat on the Wilmington Housing Authority (currently held by Leona Bombard)."
