A pair of Patch editors lay it on the line leading up to Super Bowl 46.

He doesn't know it, but there is much more on the line on Sunday than a fourth Super Bowl ring for New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
The pride of one Patch Local Editor sits firmly on the Hall of Fame signal caller's right shoulder.

Sure, it was the Giants who destroyed the Patriots' perfect season four years ago, but they got lucky. Eli Manning should have been sacked on the now famous final drive, and David Tyree never would have caught the pass that set up the game-winning touchdown if it hadn't stuck on his helmet.

"I would respond," he said, "but I can't hear you while my Giants Super Bowl Champions ski cap covers my ears."
That being said, the stakes for this year's bet are simple. Whichever Local Editor loses the bet must post a photograph of himself on both sites wearing the winning team's jersey, and must write an article to accompany the photo describing why the opposition is the superior team.
"I look forward to seeing Justin wearing a Patriots jersey so he knows what it's like to be a true champion," said Schooley. "The Pats fell into the Giants' trap once, but it isn't happening again this year."
Whether you're a Giants fan or a Patriots fan, we want to hear from you about the bet and the game.
