PHOTO: Students Celebrate Dental Health Month

First graders around Wilmington learn about importance of oral hygiene from GenerationSmile hygienest.

Wilmington Public School first graders celebrated National Dental Health Month at on Thursday, February 2. 

They learned that a balanced diet, limiting snacks, brushing and flossing each day and regular dental check-ups are the keys to a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums. 

Ellen Sheehan, a Dental Hygienist for GenerationSmile, talked to students to discuss the importance of oral health.
