Police Locate Missing Wilmington Woman's Car

WILMINGTON, MA -- Police in Lowell located the car belonging to a Wilmington woman who was last seen Feb. 28 on Broadway Street in Lowell in Friday. By Saturday, Kim Landry's 2003 Mitsubishi Gallant had been moved to a different location on the same street, but it's unclear if Landry was the one who moved it. police were also following up a sighting of someone who matched Landry's description in Gardner on Friday.

Landry called her parents on March 5 and said she was going to check herself into Lowell General Hospital. But the Wilmington mother never checked into the hospital and was gone by the time her family arrived. Outside of that one contact, no one has seen or heard from Landry since she was first reported missing, and he mobile phone has been turned off since she was last seen 11 days ago.

"Kim contacted my parents and said she was in Lowell. That she was gonna check herself into Lowell general hospital and never did," her sister wrote on Facebook Wednesday. "Still hasn't called back or come home yet. I called and went to the hospital. She never showed up."

On Friday, Wilmington Police received a tip that someone had seen Landry on Route 140 in Gardner. Police have not yet determined if it was Landry or just someone who looked like her. Landry is 5'1" and 160 pounds. She has long brown hair and typically wears jeans and hooded sweatshirts. She has tattoos and "always" wears earrings, according to her family.

"It seems impossible that aside of this 1 possible sighting & her car, no one has seen or heard anything about her whereabouts," Landry's friend Robyn Unger posted on Facebook Sunday. "Kim is a good person who's tried hard to put & keep her life together. She needs everyone's support & help right now. Kim's also a mama, her kids need her found & home. If you have any information please reach out, even anonymously."
