Police Log: Dog Fight and Multiple Arrests

The following is an excerpt from the Wilmington Police log from Friday, May 4 to Monday, May 7.
Friday, May 4
9:32 a.m.: An employee from reported that a vehicle was parked in the lot since yesterday. The car was unlocked, filled with trash and the back seat in missing. Police reported that the vehicle was not listed in the system as stolen.

12:30 p.m.: A Horseshoe Lane resident reported a vehicle was in the parking lot that was not registered with Regency Place, and it was parked there overnight. It appeared that someone hung a sheet up blocking all the windows. The driver of the vehicle slept in the car overnight and was sent on his way.
2:33 p.m.: Officers were behind the where an arching sound was coming from the rear of the cruiser and there was an odor of electrical burning. A strobe box caught on fire, and the box was replaced.

6:55 p.m.: At , a caller reported his juvenile son took off from him and was found with a group of youths on the path behind the arena, possibly involved in suspcious activity.
Saturday, May 5
1:59 p.m.: An Avery Street caller reported several ATV riders in the town conservation land. Police spoke with the riders who were advised they should not be riding in the area. Two other riders left the area and returned to Avery Street to apologize to the witness.
3:39 p.m.: A Main Street caller reported his , and one of the dogs bit him in the hand. North Reading's animal control officer responded to the scene, and escorted one of the dog's owners in a friend's vehicle to the MA Veterinary Hospital in Woburn.
4:58 p.m.: Three car motor vehicle crash reported on Main Street in front of Fashion Bug. The Fire Department responded to the scene, and one female party suffered a seizure following the crash.
Sunday, May 6
11:40 a.m.: Wilmington's animal control officer requested assistance in removing the pit bull involved in the Saturday attack from the location. The dog was removed from the residence and taken to the pound for a 10-day quarantine.
6:33 p.m.: Police issued a citation to the operator of a vehicle on Main Street for a red light violation, failure to use caution at an intersection and no license in possession. The operator was also given a civil citation for possession of Class D and a second for public consumption of Class D. The passenger was given citations for the same drug offenses.
10:28 p.m.: On Cunningham Street, a resident reported that two male parties attempted to kick in his front door. Police stopped a vehicle and summonsed two men for malicious damage of property.
Monday, May 7
1:22 a.m.: A tow company started a hook for a car on Lopez Road, and one people was brought back to the station to make arrangements for a ride. David Sweet, 22, of 8 Dustin Youth Lane, in Billerica, was arrested and charged with possession of Class D drugs and marked lanes violation.
12:24 p.m.: A resident wanted to speak with the animal control officer about the pooper scooper law. Ellen Sawyer was notified of the request.
1:38 p.m.: Police received a call from MBTA requesting an officer meet the train at the station. Officers returned with Frank C. Criscitello, 31, of 17 Ellsworth St., in Lowell, for an outstanding warrant and carrying a dangerous weapon.
5:54 p.m.: An unknown disturbance was called in by State Police. A dispatcher spoke with the caller who reported a domestic involving a family member. Marc J. Piro, Jr., 18, of 23 Buckingham Road, in Wilmington, was charged with assault and batter, malicious destruction of property greater than $250, and possession of Class A drugs.
