WILMINGTON, MA — In the time of the coronavirus outbreak, it can be heroic to just keep going to work, putting yourself on the line to allow others to stay home and stay safe. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
My husband works as a fire lieutenant for the Woburn Fire Department and volunteers to work overtime as a emergency medical technician. He works long hours away from home and works on the ambulance when he doesn’t have to.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
He is a caring person who treats everyone with respect no matter what. Risks his own health to transport people to hospital and help people when then need it .
