Rte. 62 eastbound between Woburn Street and the North Reading line will be closed again Friday between Woburn St and the N Reading line due to Thursday's truck crash.Just before 5 p.m. Thursday night, Wilmington Police announced Rte. 62 westbound reopened following a motor vehicle accident involving two trucks earlier in the day.Police also said the eastbound lane would continue to be closed for several more hours, but now that closure is continuing into Friday. The westbound lane opened after nearly three hours following the accident.There were extensive backups Thursday afternoon and night in that area and motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.
