MA Weather: Friday Burst Of Snow On Deck
A few inches of snow could accompany you on your commute home.
More snow tonight? You better believe it. For the first third of fourth time since last weekend (depending on where you live) you'll see some snow.
Tonight's snowfall - looking like it'll come in time for the evening commute - will be more a nuisance than a weekend-altering event. Boston and its surrounding communities can expect to get about 2 inches while a high-end 4 inches is headed toward the Cape & Islands and Southeastern Mass. Places to the north and west of Boston can expect an inch of less.

It might not look like its going to snow for much of the morning and afternoon. In addition to more bitter cold temperatures that will eventually crawl out of the teens, the skies should be relatively sunny.
The cold spell promises to continues through the weekend. Temperatures this morning were in the low teens and in some places single digits.
