Selling the Butters Farm Property, New Parking Lot at Shawsheen, A De-Icer for the DPW and More

The Saturday, May 2 Town Meeting Warrant has been released and voters will decide on 56 articles at the annual assembly.

Wilmington’s Annual Town Meeting warrant has been released and voters will be making decisions on 56 articles when they assemble on Saturday, May 2 in the high school auditorium at 10:30 a.m.

Some of the articles on the warrant include:

  • Seeking the purchase of a liquid de-icer truck for the town’s Department of Public Works.
  • Updating clocks and intercom system at the Wilmington Middle School.
  • Reconstruction of the parking lot for the Shawsheen Middle School.
  • Transferring the Whitefield School site from the School Committee to the Board of Selectmen to demolish the building.
  • Selling the Butters Farm property.
  • Permanently and officially naming the Yentile Farm Recreational Facility.
