Shawsheen Tech Two Wins From Super Bowl Repeat

Last year the . After another league championship, the Rams are two wins from making it a repeat.

Over the weekend, Shawsheen toppled Northeast by a 24-6 margin, clinching the Catholic Athletic Conference regular season title once more. The Rams are 5-4 overall, but sport a 3-1 record  in the Large League division.

Next up on the schedule is a Thanksgiving Day meeting with Greater Lowell, before the biggest game of the season to date. If Shawsheen can move past Catholic League champion Cardinal Spellman on Tuesday, Dec. 6, the Rams will play for another Division 4 Super Bowl title at Gillette Stadium.

Cardinal Spellman is unbeaten, boasting a 10-0 record overall with a 4-0 mark in conference play.

The Shawsheen squad includes Wilmington residents, one of which holds a particularly important role. Matt Costello is among the team’s captains.
