Slow Your Roll, Wilmington Drivers: State OKs Speed Limit Changes
The change is aimed at slowing traffic near the Shawsheen School.
WILMINGTON, MA — Drivers who regularly use Shawsheen Avenue near the Shawsheen School in Wilmington take not: the state approved an extension of the 25 MPH speed limit on the road near the school in both directions. The state also approved a 25 MPH zone on nearby Hopkins Street. The Wilmington Department of Public Works has updated all signage in the area to comply with the new speed regulations.
