1. Temperatures in Wilmington will likely reach about 74° on Wednesday, with a 3o percent chance of showers in the morning breaking into partly cloudy skies late according to Weather.com. Meanwhile, in Vancouver, skies will be partly cloudy with temperatures around 62° and a 20 percent chance of precipitation.
2. Time for the obvious. The Boston Bruins are one victory away from their first Stanley Cup championship since 1972, and have just one chance to win it. Puck drops on Game 7 against the Vancouver Canucks Wednesday night just after 8 p.m. on NBC.

3. Many Wilmington residents feel a special connection to the team, and for good reason. In case you didn't know, is the official practice facility of the Bruins. "It's great bragging rights saying that you play in the same arena as the hometown team," said head coach Steve Scanlon. "It's extra special for the players." Be sure to check out Scanlon's prediction for the game later today on Patch.
4. Thinking of heading into Boston to watch the game? According to reports, Bruins officials were originally looking to hold a viewing party at the team's home arena, the TD Garden. Those plans, however, were scratched. Police plan to close streets to foot traffic around the Garden and Fenway Park, win or lose, for public safety. If you are planning a trip to a Boston establishment, we offer you one piece of advice - get there early. Seats are sure to be at a premium.
