State Police Recover Two Guns In Early Morning Wilmington Traffic Stop
At least one of the recovered guns had been reported stolen.

Two Randolph men are facing multiple charges after State Police recovered two guns during an early-morning traffic stop in Wilmington Monday. Melvin Ace Coleman, 26, and Tayvon D. Harper, 23, both of Randolph, were stopped in an Arizona-registered Hyundai Tucson SUV on Interstate 93 Northbound after state police clocked them traveling at more than 100 miles per hour.
During a search of the car, state troopers recovered two .40 caliber pistols. One of the guns, a Smith & Wesson, had been stolen from an auction in Georgia.
Neither man is licensed to carry a firearm. Additionally, the vehicle they were riding in had been rented from Enterprise by a third party and the men were traveling without proper registration documentation. As a result, Harper is also facing charges of using a motor vehicle without authority and driving without a license.
