Ten Wildcats Announced as Hall of Fame Inductees

Editor's Note: The following information was provided by the Wilmington High School Athletic Hall of Fame.

The Board of Directors of the Wilmington High School Athletic Hall of Fame has announced the selection of this years inductees. 

Selected for this prestigious award, are:

Eric Banda – 2000
Paula Burns - 1982
Dean Devlin - 1974
Paul Fitch - 1974
Dennis Ingram - 1999
Ted Moran – 1982
Karen Rowe - 1983
Jackie Rubino - 2002
Eric Swiezynski - 2001
Steve Winchell - 1977

A team award will be presented to the 1965 Girl’s Basketball Team and a special Benefactor award will be presented to the Sons of Italy.

Hall of Fame inductees are recognized as outstanding individuals who have made a significant contribution in the field of athletics as a participant, coach or benefactor at Wilmington High School. To be eligible, a participant must have been graduated from Wilmington High School for a period of at least ten years.

The induction dinner will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus, at 6:30pm. Tickets are $30.00 per person and must be purchased in advance, from Jack Cushing (978) 658-2170.
