It is a sample of the types of calls the Wilmington Police responded to on Thursday, March 8, 2018 An arrest does not indicate a conviction. And all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Wilmington Police responded to dozens of calls of downed limbs, low-hanging and fallen wires, and down trees Thursday as a result of the storm.

1:10 am: Assisting Fire Department with report of strange odor on Beeching Road. Fire Department cut power to house where odor was reported. Wires still in roadway.

1:17 am: Assist Fire Department with reports of strange odor on Lake Street. Possibly related to power surge in area.

1:20 am: Odor of smoke on Lake Street. Fire Department handling.

5:00 am: Jeep backed into parked car at Heavenly Donuts on Main Street.

5:11 am: Plow hit fence on Grove Avenue. Driver will contact resident in the morning.

6:35 am: Train derailment.

6:54 am: plow hit vehicle on Main Street, airbags deployed.

9:39 am: Business manager on Fordham Road reporting former employee refusing to leave. Subject advised he is no longer welcome and subject to arrest.

10:20 am: Two-car accident on Main Street, no injuries.

10:26 am: Possible house fire on Lake Street. Road is clear.

11:27 am: Harassing phone calls from unknown caller.

2:29 pm: Kids throwing snowballs at cars on Shawsheen Avenue at Aldrich Road.

3:02 pm: FedEX driver dropped off found wallet.

5:08 pm: Parties smoking marijuana in car at Speedway on Main Street. Gone on arrival.

5:21 pm: CVS employee reports angry customer made threats, grabbed her wrist. Party left, will try to make contact at residence.

7:14 pm: Two car crash at Wilmington Builder's Supply on Main Street. Operator of white pickup yelling at other party.
