Tremezzo Ristorante Opens Monday

At long last, Wilmington residents will have a new Italian restaurant starting Monday, Dec. 29.

Tremezzo Ristorante officially opens its doors Monday, Dec. 29 at its 2 Lowell St. location, which was formerly Focaccia’s.

Owners Rick Lowe and Maura Lucchesi, are joined by Executive Chef James Martin who has partnered with Lowe and Lucchesi to bring his 25 years of experience to Tremezzo serving both lunch and dinner.

With its grand opening Monday, Tremezzo is open this week for dinner starting at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Thursday, New Year’s Day, the restaurant will open at noon.

Starting Monday, Jan. 5 the restaurant will open daily at 11:30 a.m., closing at 10 p.m. on weekdays and 11 p.m. on weekends. Tremezzo will be serving lunch and dinner daily and promises to bring to Wilmington a brand new Italian Fusion dining experience, with amazing food, unique and exciting drinks, and an electrifying atmosphere.

This week, Tremezzo will also be offering entertainment. Here is a look at the restaurant’s opening week schedule and scheduled entertainment:

• Monday, Dec. 29 - opening at 4:30 p.m. with live music
• Tuesday, Dec. 30 - 4:30 to 10 p.m. with live music from Farmers
• Wednesday, Dec. 31 - 4:30 p.m. to midnight (kitchen closes at 10 p.m.) with entertainment from Common Ground 521
• Thursday, Jan. 1 - Noon to 8 p.m. serving dinner
• Friday, Jan. 2 - opening at 4:30 with live music by Night Flight
• Saturday, Jan. 3 - opening at 4:30 p.m. with live music by 4ever Fab
• Sunday, Jan. 4 - opening at 4:30
