Trial Date Set for Charles McNeil

After almost one year of hearings, a trial date has been set in the case of the man while .

During a hearing last week at Woburn District Court, attorneys heard testimony from a Wilmington Police Department officer. The defense was given until January 6 to file in response to the testimony.

According to reports, McNeil was allegedly driving under the influence of prescription anti-depressants.

In February, McNeil, 43, was charged with motor vehicle homicide by operating under the influence of drugs and negligence, operating under the influence of drugs second offense, and marked lane violation.
