Two Seriously Injured in Crash on Lake Street Tuesday Night
BREAKING: One of the men was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital by MedFlight.

WILMINGTON, MA — Two men suffered serious injuries as a result of a single-vehicle crash in Wilmington Tuesday night, according to Wilmington Police.
Police responded to the crash at 10 p.m. at the intersection of Lake Street and Jacques Lane, and found a Honda CRV with heavy damage. The driver, a 40 year-old Wilmington man, was transported to Lahey Clinic.
A passenger, a 37-year-old Tewksbury man, was taken by MedFlight to Massachusetts General Hospital.

Both suffered serious injuries during the crash. Police say that preliminary witness reports indicate that excessive speed may have been a factor in the crash.
The crash is currently under investigation with the assistance of the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, according to Wilmington Police.
