Watch Wilmington School Officials Take the Ice Bucket Challenge

Wilmington High School staff, administrators, members of the Class of 2015 and more have been challenged.

Four members of the Wilmington Public Schools, including Superintendent of Schools Mary DeLai, took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Friday afternoon on the Steps of Wilmington High School. And they are challenging their friends and colleagues to do the same.

The Ice Bucket Challenge campaign’s goal is to raise awareness for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which is also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

Those taking the challenge included from left to right in the picture above, Assistant Principal Chris Phillips, Assistant Principal Dennis Mahoney, Superintendent of Schools Mary DeLai, and Wilmington High School Principal Linda Peters: Class of 2015
