Weekly Logs: Wilminton Police Arrest 2, Respond To 21 Crashes

It was a bad week for Wilmington drivers.

WILMINGTON, MA — The following are derived from Wilmington's police logs for the last week. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Friday, Jan. 17

Police respond two two crashes, on Middlesex Avenue and Concord Street. They do not report any injuries.

Saturday, Jan. 18

At 10:33 a.m., a summons was issued for someone driving an uninsured vehicle with revoked registration. The plates were confiscated.

At 6:44 p.m., a woman reported unexplained traffic cones in front of her mailbox. When she moved them onto the driveway, another cone appeared overnight.

At 9:05 p.m., police make an arrest at Sonny's Mobile On the Run, on Lowell Street. An employee called police over a domestic argument in the store. A 31-year-old Wilmington woman was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, assault and battery on police, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and assault.

Police also responded to three car crashes.

Monday, Jan. 20

Police responded to six crashes, including at least one with a possible injury.

Tuesday, Jan. 21

Police responded to four accidents, including one on the I-93 northbound ramp from Lowell Street which turned into a multi-car pileup.

At 5:31 p.m., police responded to a missing person call. The person was found the same evening.

Wednesday, Jan. 22

Police responded to four calls regarding car crashes.

Thursday, Jan. 23

At 9:29 p.m., police arrested a 36-year-old Wilmington man, for operating under the influence.

Police also responded to two car crashes.
