Weekly Police Logs: Police Arrest Three, Respond To 17 Crashes

From Feb. 7 to 13, Wilmington police made three arrests, all with OUI charges.

WILMINGTON, MA — The following are derived from Wilmington's police logs for the last week. Arrests do not indicate convictions. The logs are posted by the department here.


Friday, Feb. 7

Police responded to a crash into a pole that cut off electricity to a residence.

Saturday, Feb. 8

Around 12:57 a.m., police issued a summons to a 47-year-old Wilmington man, with a charge of driving without a license.

At 1:42 a.m., police responded to a crash and arrested a 36-year-old New Hampshire man. He was charged with an OUI, a marked lanes violation, and reckless driving.

At 2:27 a.m., police arrested a man asleep at the wheel of a stopped truck. The 39-year-old man was charged with an OUI and negligent operation.

Police responded to three other crashes.

Sunday, Feb. 9

Police responded to one reported crash, which damaged a mailbox.

Monday, Feb. 10

At 12:10 p.m., police issued a summons to a 37-year-old North Reading resident, who was charged with failure to stop, driving without a license, and not having an up-to-date inspection sticker.

Police also responded to three crashes.

Tuesday, Feb. 11

Police responded to three crashes, including a case where a woman drove off with a gas pump still attached to her car.

Wednesday, Feb. 12

Police responded to two crashes.

Thursday, Feb. 13

Police arrested a 48-year-old Wakefield woman, following a reported hit-and-run in Woburn. She was charged with an OUI and resisting arrest.

Police also responded to three crash reports.
