Wildcats Busy Throughout the Week

A look at upcoming WHS games.

As always, this is a busy weel for Wilmington High School sports teams, which were impacted last week by rainy conditions.

On Monday, the girls soccer team hosts nearby Stoneham in a tilt that will likely finish up under the lights of Alumni Stadium. The game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. as the Wildcats look to get back in the win column with a make up of a rain out from the previous week.

Tuesday is a busy day at the school, with another girls soccer game taking place at 3:45 p.m. This time the Lady Wildcats will play at Shawsheen Elementary School against Watertown.

At 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday the Wilmington girls volleyball team welcomes Watertown into the high school gym.

The volleyball team doesn't have to wait long to get back to work following its tilt with Watertown. That's because on Wednesday, the Lady Wildcats are on the court again, this time battling nearby Tewksbury at home, starting at 4 p.m.

On Thursday, the it's the boys soccer's team for a game under the lights. Steve Scanlon's Wildcats battle Melrose. Kick off is at 6 p.m.

Wilmington's field hockey team closes out its week on Friday with a home tilt versus Stoneham.

And finally, the boys soccer team plays the final game of the next week on Saturday. The Wildcats square off against Belmont at 2 p.m.
