
Wilmington High School teams are not getting into the teeth of their schedule now that the calendar has been flipped to May. Here's a look at games coming up this week in town.
- The softball team defends home field with a late start on Monday. First pitch is at 6 p.m. against Triton.
- Billerica visits Textron courts at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday to face the boys tennis team.
- Meanwhile, at 3:45 p.m., the baseball team is also in action on Tuesday. The Wildcats welcome Manchester to the diamond at the high school.
- Masconomet and Pentrucket are in town to run up against the Wilmington boys and girls track team. Action for the home meet begins at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
- On Thursday, Amesbury takes its cuts against Wilmington on the baseball diamond. The home tilt starts with a 3:45 p.m. first pitch.
- The young girls lacrosse team is on the field on Thursday. Georgetown and the locals will square off beginning at 3:45 p.m. at .
- North Reading will give the boys lacrosse team a run for its money on Thursday at . Opening face off is at 4 p.m.
- The only action on Friday will come on the dance floor. No varsity teams have games, but the school's senior prom is at 7 p.m.
- On Saturday, the baseball team closes the week out against Masconomet. First pitch is at 3 p.m.
