Wildcats in Action This Week
Slow week in sports, but teams playing in final days before Christmas.
There aren't many home games this week for Wilmington High School sports teams, but the the Wildcats are still hard at work throughout the upcoming days.
On Monday, the boys and girls track teams are the only varsity squads in action. Both teams travel to Stoneham for a meet that starts at 4:15 p.m.
While no varisty teams are at home on Tuesday either, there is a road doubleheader for the basketball teams. First, Jay Keane's girls team plays Lexington at 5:30 p.m. hoping to utilize momentum .

Then at 7 p.m., the boys team hopes to bounce back from a , playing Lexington at the conclusion of the girls game.
Wednesday is the only day Wilmington teams will be at home this week.

First, at 6:30 p.m., the wrestling team hosts Arlington in an early season tilt. Then, at 8 p.m., the is back in action, welcoming Reading to .
Friday is the busiest day of the week for the Wildcats, though none of the action takes place in town.
The , which is off to a 1-0-1 start despite the loss of two top line players for five games, play Peabody at 5:15 p.m. At 5:30 p.m., the boys basketball team plays at Reading, and finally the girls basketball team closes out the week with a game against the same foe.
