Wildcats Ready for Busy Week

Fall sports season is in full swing, kick and throw for . Here is a look at a busy week ahead for the Wildcats.

On Monday, the boys varsity golf team continues its home slate with a tilt against Belmont. Late last week, the with a solid perfomance. 

Wilmington's Monday match begins at 3:30 p.m. and takes place in North Reading.

A pair of teams are on the road Monday. The field hockey team travels to Stoneham while the volleyball team hits the road to Watertown.

Tuesday features just one varsity home game as the boys soccer team welcomes Watertown to town. The contest is a night game, taking place at 6 p.m.

The cross country team and girls soccer teams are on the road Tuesday.

On Wednesday, the golf team continues a string of home matches. The Wildcats welcome Melrose to North Reading at 3:30 p.m.

Also on Wednesday, the field hockey team hosts Watertown at 3:45 p.m. and the volleyball squad has a home match versus Melrose at 5:30 p.m.

Things slow down a bit on Thursday, with just one home game for Wilmington. The field hockey team is in action at 6 p.m., taking on Melrose. The golf team is on the road at 3:30 p.m. against Winchester.

For the first time this season, the week ends with Friday Night Lights in Wilmington. But before the football home opener, there is a pair of other games in town.

At 3:45 p.m. Melrose visits the girls soccer team, which . Then, the volleyball team defends home court against Belmont.

Capping off the week, the 1-0 football team looks to after a week off. The Wildcats, , hosts Masconomet in its first home tilt of the year.
