Wildcats Winless No More [VIDEO]
Girls lacrosse team bounces back from last second tie the game before to earn first win of the year on Friday.
The Wilmington girls lacrosse team let a lead slip away late in the second half the day before. They weren't going to let history repeat itself.
After Burlington tied the Lady Wildcats with just seconds remaining on Thursday, Melrose began chipping away at Wilmington's advantage late in the game on Friday.
Melrose sliced into a five goal Wilmington lead and made the game 10-7 in the final minutes, but the Wildcats held on to that margin and earned the win.
