Wilmington Arts Council 35th Annual Show a Great Success!

82 Entries by local artists.

The Wilmington Arts Council held its 35th annual show this past weekend. There were 82 entries, with a wonderful variety of subject material and styles. Friday night’s reception was elegant, with tasty hors d’oeuvres provided, as well as live music by Bruce Margeson on our concert grand piano. Saturday saw artists demonstrating their painting skills to the visitors, with Jean Chang, Marge Elia, and Jane Crane showing their watercolor techniques.

Art works included oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastel, charcoal, colored pencil, photography, and even fabric art! Artists from Wilmington and surrounding towns always enjoy this annual event, and look forward to it each year.
