Wilmington Boosters Readying for Dinner Dance

Editor's Note: The following information was provided by the Wilmington Boosters Association.

The Wilmington Boosters Association, a nonprofit organization whose goal is to provide scholarships to deserving Wilmington High School athletes, is having their annual Dinner Dance on Saturday, January 28, at the Wilmington Knight's of Columbus Hall.  

Please join us for a delicious dinner buffet, dancing, raffles and a silent auction. Reserve your table now! Tickets are $30.00 each, and can be purchased from any Boosters member or at the concession table at all home basketball games. All proceeds from the dance go to scholarships. At the WHS 2011 Scholarship Night, the Boosters presented over $14,000.00 in scholarships to student athletes.

Last spring, the Wilmington Booster's Association awarded more than 25 scholarships of $500 to graduating student athletes of Wilmington High School. We need your help to do it again this year.

We are also looking for donations for our raffle table, if you would like to donate a basket or service.
