Wilmington Church to Host 'Prayer Vigil for Peace' Sunday

Here's what you need to know about the vigil.

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Catholic will be hosting a 'Prayer Vigil for Peace' in Wilmington Sunday afternoon.

The organization announced Monday that the vigil aims to provide a time of reflection, prayer, music and unities in the name of peace.

The vigil comes just days after the fifteenth anniversary of 9/11 and will also be held in the name of peace in response to violent episodes at schools, night clubs, movie theaters and houses of worship.

The vigil will be held at 5:45 p.m. at St. Thomas Church. All are welcomed to attend.
