Wilmington Coronavirus: Easter Bunny Greets Kids For Meal Pickup
Wilmington Public Schools are serving 4,500 meals per week during the coronavirus shutdown.

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Public Schools are feeding hundreds of kids every day, during the coronavirus shutdown. According to the district's food service administrator Mary Palen, the service is providing 4,500 meals per week.
Friday, the meal pickup at Wilmington High School was joined by an Easter Bunny, who greeted kids coming to get their meals. The Bunny was a surprise—Palen did not tell families ahead of time that there would be a greeter, Friday.
Grab-and-go meals are available to all students, Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
