Wilmington Coronavirus Update: 140 Confirmed Cases
Ten Wilmington residents have recovered, as of Monday afternoon, the Board of Health said.
WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington has 140 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus, as of Sunday afternoon, Public Health Director Shelly Newhouse. That includes 51 cases at the AdviniaCare in Wilmington nursing home.
There are 79 active cases outside of the nursing home, as 10 residents have recovered. Seventeen others are quarantined.
The nursing home announced Saturday that the majority of its 98 residents had tested positive for the virus.

For privacy reasons, the town does not release any information about the coronavirus patients. Public health officials conduct follow-up with the patients' contacts.
"The next two weeks, I expect to see our numbers spike," Newhouse said.

Newhouse also said Monday that the Board of Health has "tons" of masks that they can deliver to local businesses.
As of Monday, there are nearly 14,000 cases of the new virus in Massachusetts.
