Wilmington Educators Taking Part in Conference at Gillette Stadium

More than 1,500 Massachusetts teachers and administrators from across Massachusetts will be at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro on Wednesday and Thursday for the Massachusetts Computer Using Educators (MassCUE) and Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (M.A.S.S.) 2011 Technology Conference.

Governor Deval Patrick will attend the conference on Thursday morning, and deliver public remarks.

MassCUE and M.A.S.S. are recognized nationally for their efforts to help pre-K through post-secondary educators best use and enhance learning through technology.   This year’s conference, which has the highest registered attendance to date, has been growing year after year; the conference includes seminars, lectures, a show floor of technology vendors, and opportunities to network and share information.

Delivering keynotes at the conference will be NBC Chief Education Correspondent, Rehema Ellis, who in the early 1990s worked as reporter and weekend anchor at WHDH-TV Channel 7 in Boston; Mary Cullinane, Director, Innovation and Business Development for Microsoft; and Dr. Yong Zhao, Presidential Chair and Associate Dean of Global Education, College at the University of Oregon.
