Wilmington’s Annual Town Election is Saturday, April 25. Here’s what you need to know as Election Day approaches:

Voting with An Absentee Ballot?

Absentee Ballot Applications must be received by noon Friday, April 24 . This is also the last date/time to absentee vote in person at the Town Clerk’s Office.

Voted Ballots must be received at the Town Clerk’s Office by 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Voting Hours and Polling Locations

The polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 25.

Polling locations in Wilmington are:

  • Precincts 1 and 2: Boutwell School, 17 Boutwell St.
  • Precincts 3 and 4: Wildwood School, 195 Wildwood St.
  • Precincts 5 and 6: Town Hall, 121 Glen Road.

Voters are encouraged to confirm their voter status and polling location by visiting the Secretary of State’s office online or by calling the Clerk’s office.

The Wilmington Ballot

There are two contested races on the April 25 ballot:

Selectmen

  • The race for the three-year-term Board of Selectmen seat between incumbent Michael Champoux and challenger Kevin MacDonald.

Town Moderator

  • The Town Moderator race between Leigh J. Martinson and Robert G. Peterson, Jr. That seat is also for three years.

Other races on the ballot include:

School Committee (two seats):

  • Mary Jane Byrnes (candidate for re-election)
  • Manny L. Mulas (candidate for re-election)

Housing Authority (one seat):

  • Leona C. Bombard (candidate for re-election)

Regional Technical Vocational School Committee (one seat)

  • James M. Gillis (candidate for re-election)
