Wilmington Graduates to March in Inaugural Parade
Lisamarie DiOrio and Courtney Capistran will march with the Boston College band.

Two members of the Wilmington High School Class of 2012 will be among the participants in the President Barack Obama's Inaugural Parade on Monday.
Lisamarie DiOrio and Courtney Capistran were both in the Wilmington band from the time they were in fourth grade up until graduation last year. Now, they will march in the historic event with the Boston College marching band.
DiOrio, a member of the Lynch School of Education at BC, plays the flute and piccolo while Capistran, a student in the Connell School of Nursing, plays the saxaphone in the band.

The parade takes place on Monday following the swearing in and inaugural speech by President Obama.
According to the Boston Globe, Band director David Healey says the performance will be a ‘‘once in a lifetime opportunity’’ for band members.
