WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington High School ranked 71 on Boston Magazine's recent rankings of public high schools in the area. Using data from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Boston Magazine's team compiled the best public schools that are within, or partially within, I-495.

Wilmington finished 71st out of the 149 schools that were ranked. The rankings were determined by factors such as SAT scores, student-teacher ratios, graduation rates, according to the magazine.

Who did the best according to Boston Magazine? Acton-Boxborough Regional High School came in at number one, followed by Littleton. Here's how Wilmington's neighboring communities ranked:
