Wilmington Police Arrest Three For Breaking And Entering

One of the three has been arrested twice in the past for stealing scrap metal in Billerica.

WILMINGTON, MA -- Three people are facing multiple charges stemming from an alleged breaking and entering in Wilmington. According to the Wilmington Police log for Friday, police arrested Scott M. Maga, 50, of 41 Oakdale Road, Michele A. Maga, 50, of 41 Oakdale Road, and Vincent Daniel McLaine, of 1284 Whipple Road in Tewksbury.

All three were charged with felony breaking and entering (nighttime), receiving of stolen property valued over $250, larceny over $250 and vandalism of property. The three were arrested at 1:15 pm on Oakdale Road.

Wilmington Police Lt. Brian Pupa said the charges stem to a past report of breaking and entering on December 28 at 38 Oakdale Road. The three allegedly tried to sell items stolen from the property to pawn shops in Lowell.

In 2012, Scott Maga and his son, Micahel Maga, were arrested by Billerica Police and charged with stealing equipment and scrap metal from an Andover Street home. Billerica police also arrested the elder Maga in 2011 on charges stemming from the theft of steel from the Boston & Maine Railroad located at Iron Horse Park in North Billerica.
