Wilmington Police Arrest Two On Wednesday

WILMINGTON, MA -- Police responded to an open-line 911 call at 1:18 pm Wednesday, according to the Wilmington Police log. Officers went to a residence on Palmer Way, where they arrested Corey M. Brennan, 40, of Wilmington, and charged him with assault and battery, malicious destruction of property worth more than $1,2000 and witness intimidation.
Also on Wednesday afternoon, Wilmington Police were back on Palmer Way at 2:25 pm for a warrant arrest. Police arrested Douglas L. Bevis Jr., 27, of 7 Rhodes Street, on outstanding warrants for three counts of assault and battery, possession of a class B drug and cruelty to animals by custodian.
Police also issued a criminal summons to Brenda A. Guevara, 26, of Woburn, during a motor vehicle stop at 8:18 am on Glen Road. The summons was for an expired inspection sticker and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
