Communities across Massachusetts and North America are participating in National Night Out events. Here's what you need to know.

From the Wilmington Police Department
The Wilmington Police Department is pleased to announce that on Tuesday, August 2, we will be joining with communities across North America to host our 3rd annual National Night Out.
Made possible through a grant from the Cummings Foundation, the event will feature fun & games, emergency vehicle & equipment displays, a K9 demonstration, and more! The Massachusetts National Guard has partnered with us this year and will be landing a Black Hawk helicopter on the little league field.

After dark we will be showing Disney’s “Zootopia” on the big screen, so bring a chair or a blanket to sit on. We’ll supply the popcorn!

National Night Out is designed to heighten crime prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
We would like to invite all Wilmington residents to join us at Rotary Park on August 2 from 6-8 pm for this fun and exciting event.
