WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington residents can take a free online safety course covering the rules of the road for electric bicycles and scooters through a new partnership with the Wilmington Police Department.
The department has partnered with Teen Rider Academy, a program designed to teach teenagers how to operate e-bikes and e-scooters safely and legally.
The seven-part course can typically be completed in an hour or less. Wilmington Police purchased a community membership, allowing residents to participate at no cost.
