Wilmington Police Receive Reports of People Fundraising for Police Department
Neither the Police Association or Police Union are fundraising at this time, according to police.
WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Police announced Wednesday that they have received reports of individuals fundraising for the Wilmington Police Department. Police alerted residents that neither the Police Association or the Police Union are fundraising.

Police also cautioned residents to verify where they are making charitable donations to.
When dealing with fundraisers, it is a good practice to confirm who is requesting a donation and only donate to verified organizations.
