Pedestrian Killed in Crash at Rite Aid in Wilmington
A vehicle driven by an elderly Wilmington woman struck the pedestrian and two other unoccupied vehicles in the Rite Aid parking lot.

WILMINGTON, MA — A Wilmington woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle at entrance of Rite Aid on Main and Richmond Street Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the victim, 52, was struck by a vehicle driven by an elderly Wilmington woman who also struck two un-occupied vehicles in the pharmacy parking lot. The victim was later pronounced dead at Lahey Hospital after being transported by ambulance.
The driver was also transported to the hospital. The identities of both the victim and the driver are being withheld pending notification of family members.

Police say the crash occurred at approximately 3 p.m. Wednesday. At around 3:18 p.m. Wednesday, Wilmington Police announced through Twitter that a serious crash was causing heavy traffic in the area of Rite Aid.
